Make-A-Wish At Gabe’s

It’s not every day that you get to be a part of someone’s wish coming true, but that’s exactly what happened this November when our Altoona store was visited by Kayla, a Make A Wish Foundation recipient from Lewiston, PA.

After being contacted by the foundation, the excited store team set to work making the day as special as possible for Kayla, who has bravely dealt with a heart condition her entire life. When she arrived for her shopping spree the teen was greeted by a sign welcoming her and her family and given a gift card from Gabe’s. In addition, the store’s excited Associates gifted this sweet almost-sixteen-year-old two gift baskets filled with beauty items. Then, it was off to the aisles for some serious shopping!

We are so honored to have been a part of Kayla’s dream-making day and are so grateful to her for choosing us. We are all proud members of Team Kayla.
